Meet the Founder

Patrick Thomas founded CueCinch to unite two lifelong passions: inventive problem-solving and the game of pool. His journey as a creator began with a box of Legos, sparking a love for building that never faded. While studying at Purdue University, Patrick discovered pool—a game that quickly became a favorite hobby.

With over 20 years of experience in process automation and systems optimization, Patrick has made his mark across the transportation, camera, and security industries. His innovations have led to multiple patents and saved countless man hours by streamlining industrial operations.

Now, Patrick is bringing that same mindset to the world of pool. His mission with CueCinch is simple: make pool about the game. That means eliminating the friction of setup and teardown, and letting players focus on what really matters—playing. He believes pool is a blend of physical skill, mental grit, and a dash of luck. And above all, it should be fun.

Why CueCinch?

CueCinch was designed with both players and venue owners in mind. It’s a simple, durable, and space-saving solution that keeps cues organized and tables looking sharp. By reducing floor clutter and protecting equipment, CueCinch not only keeps your establishment cleaner and more professional, but also speeds up game setup — so players spend more time shooting and less time searching for or setting up cues. It’s a small upgrade that makes a big difference in flow, appearance, and overall player experience.
